Terms & Conditions

  • Reservation

    Reservations can be made via e-mail info@stayinriga.com, or by phone +371 7 325435 / +371 29616120 / +371 29508019 (Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Sat 11am-5pm).

    All reservations must be guaranteed with a prepayment, otherwise StayInRiga has the right to cancel the reservation without any prior notice.

  • Price 
  • Prices for short-term rent include:
    • Taxes
    • Bed linen and towels
    • Cleaning before and after your arrival
    • Electricity, water, heating and gas.
  • All given prices are per apartment not per person.
  • All prices are calculated taking into consideration the number of people in the apartment.
  • All prices published on www.stayinriga.com are subjected to change without any prior notice.

  • Seasons
    Low Season: Jan 7- Mar 31, Oct 1- Dec 22.
    High Season: Easter, Apr 1-Sept 30, Dec 23-Jan 6, special activities held in Riga.

  • Prepayment
  • Prepayment of 100, Euro is needed for all reservations. Prepayment can be done by two means: bank transfer or online credit card payment. We accept VISA, Master Card and Amex. The prepayment is deducted from the total amount that should be paid. The balance is due upon the arrival.

  • Cancellation regulation
  • All cancellations must be sent to StayInRiga by fax or e-mail and must be confirmed by us.
  • For cancellations made prior to 15  days of arrival the prepayment fee shall be refunded with the deduction of the transaction fee. For cancellations made within 14 days of arrival no refund of any payment shall be made.
  • If the client arrives one or more days later than the expected arrival date he is still obliged to cover the complete amount of the reservation.
  • If, for whatever reason, the client decides to interrupt the stay in the apartment no refund can be entitled
  • StayInRiga reserves the right to terminate client`s stay in the apartment at any time if complaints from neighbors, problems with authorities or disturbance and damages appear. Neither refund or alternative apartment can be provided in this case. 
  •  If the reserved apartment is not available due to some problems in it StayinRiga should make the alternative offers for the same price. If the offer is not acceptable for the client StayInRiga should refund the prepayment in total.

  • Special Rates and cancellation conditions
    These apply to special holidays such as Christmas, New Year, Easter to
    special occasion such as conventions etc. These conditions will be
    separately announced with your reservation confirmation or will be offered
    on request.
    During the high season and high demand periods we reserve the right not to take
    one-two night bookings, min 3 night bookings can be accepted. The apartment can be still offered on the basis of 3 nights.  Furthermore, weekend bookings and bookings made in high demand periods for 3 nights which are then cancelled to a one-two night
    reservations will be charged for all three nights.

  • Check in
    Check in starting from 2pm (possible earlier depending on the departure time
    of the previous client,BUT in this case we do not guaranteed that our assistant can be on time a this is the check out period and our assistants are occupied with other clients.)
  • One of our assistants ( his details can be received 3-4 days before the
    arrival) helps during check in. The assistant meets the client near the
    apartment or any other agreed place and show the apartment giving all
    necessary instructions. The assistant should receive departure time on the check in.
  • The key is provided on the arrival after the balance is paid. If the key is lost the cost the total amount of a new one should be covered or reduced from the caution deposit.

  • Check out
  • Check out is till 12am (possible later depending on the arrival time of the
    next client).
  • On the agreed time one of our assistants checks the apartment on the departure date, picks up the key and gives the caution deposit back (if there is one).
  • The assistant provides you with all necessary instructions if his coming
    is impossible.
  • StayInRiga expects clients to remove all the garbage from the apartment.It is forbidden to leave the garbage in the entrance hall, only at places mentioned for this.
  • The client is also responsible to clean all dishes  that might be used in the apartment during the stay and put away at their initial place.
  • Bed linen and towels should be placed at their initial place( e.i. on beds).

  • Late check in
    Please note that we have a late check in fee of 20, Euro for those clients
    who arrive at the apartment later than 8 pm, and 30 euro late check in fee for those who arrive later than 12 am.


  • Caution deposit 
  • Caution deposit of 100 euro is a must for all apartments. The caution deposit is paid upon arrival along with a balance and returned (if the apartment is in order and the company doesn`t have any claims) at the check out.
  • SrayInRiga has the right to refuse admittance to clients who do not pay the caution deposit if required.
  • The caution deposit is taken as the guarantee to ensure that no damage is done in the rented apartment.
  • StayInRiga reserves the right to hold the caution deposit if the client is not in the apartment at the agreed time on the departure date or in case  if the key is not handed back to our assistant.

  • Important information
  • Late check in fee, extra cleanings and transfer services are not included in
    the cost of the apartment.
  • The number of people should be the same as confirmed by StayInRiga.It is not allowed to stay for more people in the apartment as agreed and paid for. StayInRiga will charge 10 euro for each extra person per night if it is possible to accomodate the larger number of people in the apartment.StayInRiga reserves the right to cancel any reservation without any possibility of refund should this occur.
  • StayInRga do not allow any pets in many of its apartments. This information should be requested in advance and StayInRiga will do the best to provide the client with the apartment where pets can be acceptable.

  • During the stay 
  • The rented out apartments along with all its all of the equipment should be treated with care and kept in order. If there is any damage done in the apartment, it has to be communicated immediately to the contact person.
  • In case of major power or water cut StayInRiga cannot be held responsible, yet we recommend to contact us immediately so that we can find a solution.

  • Damages
  • The tenant is financially responsible for any damage in the apartment losses
    caused by his/her or third party`s negligent behavior. If damages appear in
    the apartments, which do not develop in the context of the normal use, the
    client agrees to be responsible even if the damage is determined after
    departure. The damage act will be sent and amount to cover the damage will
    be charged.
  • If there appear any damaged in the apartment the client should immediately inform StayInRiga about that and StayInRiga should do the best to solve the problem as soon as possible. Please note that all complains received afterwards will not be accepted by StayInRiga.
  • Neither StayInRiga nor the owner of the apartment can be held responsible for accidents, theft, fire and etc.

  • Complaints
    In the event of any dispute or if we receive serious complaints we reserve
    the right to terminate your stay immediately.

  • Transfer service
    Transfer should be ordered in advance letting us know the exact number of
    passengers and confirmed by StayInRiga staff via e-mail or by phone.

  • One way- 20 euro for up to 4 persons, 35 euro for up to 8 persons
  • Roundtrip- 35 euro for up to 4 persons, 55 euro for up to 8 persons

    Our driver meets you at the airport with a plate StayInRiga and brings directly to the address where the assistant expects you.

  • Cleaning
  • Cleaning is done before and after your arrival and its cost is included in price.
  • The additional cleaning service is made on the request and costs 20 EURO.
