* Booking* Once you have decided on your apartment and decided to move ahead with the booking, you can either send your request to our e-mail info@stayinriga.com or inquire by phone +371 67325435 / +371 29616120 within our working hours (Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Sat 11am-5pm).You will receive an email from us with the confirmation of availability or with the offer of alternative apartments if the chosen one is not available. Once the apartment is chosen and its availability is confirmed by StayInRiga the preliminary reservation that is valid for 5 working days can be done. Name/Surname, contact phone number and arrival time are needed for the preliminary reservation.To secure your booking, we require a prepayment of a one night rent.
* Price* The price for a short-term rent includes:
o Taxes
o Bed linen and towels
o Cleaning before and after your arrival
o Electricity, water, heating and gas.
* The price is per apartment not per person.* The prices depends on the season, duration of stay and number of people.
* Late check in fee, extra cleaning fee and airport transfer fee are not included in the price of the apartment.* The number of people should be the same as confirmed by StayInRiga.com. It is not allowed to stay for more people in the apartment than agreed at the moment of booking. StayInRiga will charge 10 euro for each extra person per night if there is a possibility to accommodate extra people in the apartment and reserves the right to cancel any reservation without any possibility of refund should this occur.* All prices published on www.stayinriga.com are subjected to change without any prior notice.
* Seasons Low Season: Jan 7- Mar 31, Oct 1- Dec 22. High Season: Easter, Apr 1-Sept 30, Dec 23-Jan 6, special activities held in Riga.* Prepayment* Prepayment of a one night rent is a must for all reservations. Prepayment can be done via bank transfer. For last minute reservations credit card details can be accepted. The credit card can be charged for the amount of one night rent only in case of reservation cancellation or no show.
* The prepayment is deducted from the total amount for the rental period. The balance is due upon the arrival.* The booking is not confirmed until the prepayment is received and the apartment is considered to be vacant until then therefore may be rented out to other client; you will then receive the booking confirmation by email.
* Prepayment indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions ,understanding of apartment description, awareness of tenants rights and obligations and StayInRiga`s policy in terms of apartments` booking, cancellation regulations and payment issues.Prepayment for New Year reservations is not refundable.
* Prepayment for apartments 201 Grecinieku street, 202 Arsenala street, 203 Arsenala street, 204 Arsenala street, 205 Arsenala street, 304 Arsenala street, 239 Aspazijas street, 001 Grecinieku street, 009 Aspazijas street, 010 Peldu street, 127 Dzirnavu street, 310 Peldu street, 328 Peldu street is 150-200 euro depending on the apartment and is not refundable once it is paid.
* For New Year reservations prepayment in the amount of minimum 2 nights rent is a must. Prepayment for New Year reservations is not refundable once it is paid.
* Cancellation regulation
* All cancellations must be made in writing by email or fax and must be confirmed by StayInRiga.
* For cancellations made prior to 15 days of arrival the prepayment shall be refunded with the deduction of the transaction fee.
* For cancellations made within 14 days before the arrival no refund of any payment shall be made.* If the client arrives one or more days later than the expected arrival date he is still obliged to cover the complete amount of the reservation.
* If, for whatever reason, the client decides to interrupt the stay in the apartment no refund can be entitled.
* If the reserved apartment is not available due to some problems in it, StayinRiga should make the alternative offers for the same price. If the offer is not acceptable for the client StayInRiga should refund the prepayment in total.
*StayInRiga reserves the right not to take one or two night bookings thus min 3 night bookings can be accepted unless the reservation for shorter period is paid as a standard 3 night reservatio.Weekend bookings and bookings made in high demand periods for 3 nights which are then canceled to a one or two night reservations will be charged for all three nights.
* Special Rates
* These apply to special holidays such as Christmas, New Year, Easter and special occasion such as conventions and etc. These conditions will be separately announced with your reservation* Check in* Check in starts from 2 pm (possible earlier depending on the departure time of the previous client,BUT in this case StayInRiga do not guaranteed that our assistant can be on time as this is the check out period and our assistants can occupied with other clients.)* One of our assistants ( his/her details can be received 3-4 days before the arrival) helps with check in. The assistant meets the client near the apartment or any other agreed place and shows the apartment giving all necessary instructions.
* The client should inform about the departure time on the check in alternatively StainRiga cannot guarantee that the assistant can be at the apartment at the communicated later time.
* The total amount of the rent should be paid on the arrival.
* The key is provided on the arrival after the balance is paid. If the key is lost the cost the total amount of a new one should be covered or reduced from the caution deposit.
* Check out* Check out is till 12am (possible later depending on the arrival time of the next client,this information can be received during the check in).
* On the agreed time one of our assistants checks the apartment on the departure date, picks up the key and gives the caution deposit back (if there is one).
* The assistant provides you with all necessary instructions if his coming is impossible.* StayInRiga expects clients to remove all the garbage from the apartment. It is forbidden to leave the garbage in the entrance hall, only at places mentioned for this.
* The client is responsible to clean all dishes that might be used in the apartment during the stay and put away at their initial place. * Bed linen and towels should be placed at their initial place( e.i. on beds).* Late check in* Please note that we have a late check in fee of 20, Euro for those clients who arrive at the apartment later than 8 pm, and 30 euro late check in fee for those who arrive later than 12 am.
* Security deposit
* Security deposit of 100 euro is a must for all apartments. Please note the special condition: For apartments 201 Grecinieku street, 202 Arsenala street, 203 Arsenala street, 204 Arsenala street, 205 Arsenala street, 304 Arsenala street, 239 Aspazijas street, 001 Grecinieku street, 009 Aspazijas street, 010 Peldu street, 127 Dzirnavu street, 310 Peldu street, 328 Peldu street 150-200 euro ( depending on the apartment type) security deposit is required.
* The security deposit is paid upon arrival in cash along with a balance and returned (when the apartment is checked by our assistant and he/she doesn`t have any claims) at the check out.* For long term reservations ( starting from 1 ( one) month rent) the caution deposit in the amount of one month cost is required.* StayInRiga has the right to refuse admittance to clients who do not pay the security deposit.* The security deposit is taken as the guarantee to ensure that no damage is done in the rented apartment or to cover the cost of changing the locks in case of loss of keys.* StayInRiga reserves the right to hold the security deposit if the client is not in the apartment at the agreed time on the departure date, is not in the apartment during inspection time when damaged are found or in case if the key is not handed back to our assistant.
* During the stay
* The rented out apartments along with all its all of the equipment should be treated with care and kept in order. If there is any damage done in the apartment, it has to be communicated immediately to the contact person.
* StayInRiga cannot be held responsible for any failure or interruption of services in the apartment, including equipment, water, electricity and plumbing damage or disruption as well as noise caused as a result of repair works in the house but yet we recommend to contact us immediately so that we can find a solution.
* StayInRiga reserves the right to terminate client`s stay in the apartment at any time if complaints from neighbors, problems with authorities or disturbance and damages appear. Neither refund or alternative apartment can be provided in this case.
* Damages* The tenant is financially responsible for any damage in the apartment caused by his/her or third party`s negligent behavior. If damages appear in the apartment, which do not develop in the context of the normal use, the client agrees to be responsible even if the damage is determined after departure.
* If there appear any damaged in the apartment the client should immediately inform StayInRiga about that and StayInRiga should do the best to solve the problem as soon as possible. Please note that all complains received afterwards will not be accepted by StayInRiga.* Neither StayInRiga nor the owner of the apartment can be held responsible for accidents, theft, fire and etc. that appeared during the rental period.
* Other services
* Airport transfer
Airport transfer should be ordered in advance letting StayInRiga know the exact number of passengers and confirmed by StayInRiga staff via e-mail or by phone. Our driver meets you at the airport with a plate StayInRiga and brings directly to the address. One way- 20 euro for up to 4 persons, 35 euro for up to 8 persons Roundtrip- 35 euro for up to 4 persons, 55 euro for up to 8 persons
* StayInRga do not allow any pets. This information should be requested in advance and StayInRiga will do the best to provide the client with the apartment where pets can be acceptable.
* Cleaning
* Cleaning is done before and after your arrival and its cost is included in price.
* The additional cleaning service is made on the request and costs 20 EURO.
